The CARE Scholarship at University of Toronto

The CARE Scholarship, valued at €27,500, is part of the CARE Program funded by the Fondation DRG. The Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Empowerment (CARE) Program is a Franco-Canadian initiative bringing together the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, the University of Guelph and Sciences Po Paris. The CARE Program seeks to prepare and energize the next generation of global environmental leaders and citizens by providing them with the knowledge, skills and experience to generate hands-on solutions addressing the challenges of climate change.

Eligibility

This scholarship is to be awarded to one student from France each year, who has completed either their high school education or undergraduate education in France and has been admitted to the Master of Public Policy, Master of Global Affairs, Master of Environmental Studies program or other relevant Faculty of Arts & Science master's programs linked to the CARE program themes of environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity and energy transitions. Domestic students admitted to the Sciences Po-UofT dual degree with a focus on environmental and energy issues are also eligible.

The funds are to be used towards tuition, living costs and travel between Canada and France.

Application

Applications are currently open to those who have applied to an eligible academic program for the 2026/2027 academic year. The CARE Scholarship application will close February 1st, 2026.
