Paris, 6 March 2026. The CARE Annual Conference hosted the Tribunal for the Yet to Come, a student-led climate accountability exercise exploring the moral and legal responsibilities owed to future generations, emphasizing intergenerational equity, global climate justice and the duty of care. With support from Dr. Yamina Saheb, Prof. Laura Tozer (University of Toronto) and CARE Research Assistant Ana Diaz Vidal, students prepared intensively in advance, coordinating online prior to the conference. Designed as a scripted performance, the Tribunal combined scientific evidence, legal framing and ethical reflection to create a powerful narrative about climate responsibility.

From Wednesday 4 to Saturday 7 March 2026, the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris hosted the CARE Annual Conference 2026. The event brought together students, faculty and partners from across the consortium, who engaged in panels, roundtables, workshops, field visits as well as a Mock Tribunal for the Yet to Come and student-led cultural activities across Greater Paris.

The CARE Urban Resilience Project, led by Professor Gabriel Eidelman, Assistant Professor and Director of the Urban Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, brings together students from the CARE partner institutions to research and share case studies of innovative urban resilience projects from around the world.

The 2026 edition of the CARE-WSL Sufficiency project kicked off on 16 November, bringing together 25 students from universities across the CARE consortium. Under the scientific supervision of Dr. Yamina Saheb, founder of the World Sufficiency Lab and professor at PSIA, the project builds on the strong foundation established during its first edition.

lnternships equivalent to €6,000 (Euros) each are made available annually through a gift from the Fondation David R. Graham for outstanding students from France who are wanting to work with esteemed faculty from the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver campus) on climate-related research.

Each year, a select group of Masters students from the University of Toronto receive CARE Student Fellowships to support their pursuit of research or unpaid internships focused on environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, or energy transitions.

All current students of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) and the École d’Affaires Publiques (EAP) are invited to take part in the third annual Green Finance Challenge with HSBC Continental Europe, organised by the European Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Transition at Sciences Po.
