Each year, a select group of Masters students from the University of Toronto receive CARE Student Fellowships to support their pursuit of research or unpaid internships focused on environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, or energy transitions.

All current students of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) and the École d’Affaires Publiques (EAP) are invited to take part in the third annual Green Finance Challenge with HSBC Continental Europe, organised by the European Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Transition at Sciences Po.

Julia Brahy, a recent graduate of the Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School, was named the inaugural recipient of the CARE Scholarship in October 2024.

Launched in April 2025, the program aims to equip emerging leaders with the tools, knowledge, and critical perspectives needed to respond to today’s complex climate challenges.

The CARE Urban Resilience Project, led by Professor Gabriel Eidelman, Assistant Professor and Director of the Urban Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, brings together students from the CARE partner institutions to research and share case studies of innovative urban resilience projects from around the world.

From 2-4 March 2025, the CARE Annual Conference brought together students, faculty, and experts in Toronto and Guelph to explore integrated approaches to climate change adaptation and mitigation. Held at the University of Toronto (UofT) and the University of Guelph (UofG), the conference underscored the importance of Franco-Canadian collaboration and student leadership in tackling global environmental challenges.

As part of the second part of Prof. Dr. Madhur Anand’s CARE Visiting Fellowship, Sciences Po recently had the pleasure of hosting a workshop exploring the integration of social and natural sciences in understanding and addressing climate change.
