Raphael Choquette awarded CARE Scholarship at UBC

Meet the recipient of this year’s CARE Scholarship: Raphael Choquette. With a deep commitment to environmental sustainability and a desire to be on the frontlines of climate solutions, Raphael came to the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program with an interest in the Resources, Energy, and Sustainability stream. Having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Montreal, his experiences working at the office of his local Member of Parliament and as a former delegate at the National Model United Nations solidified his desire to support climate action through public policy.

After only a few weeks at the university, I am deeply impressed by the quality of teaching on climate issues and confident that I am gaining the tools to advance my career in this field.”
